Spell queue, if you’d set it as same as your ping, you’re essentially telling the game you have no delay (therefor no need for queue), theoretically it will cast whatever you press the moment you press the button, it will ignore any previous commands since you have virtually no lag. What do you have this set to? Do you have any suggestion? How can i check this ingame without having to combatlog and upload every time? If i set to default (400) i have the casts go off the moment they finish (like fireball -> fireball) but it feels (and is?) slower to start a cast anew after an instant cast. I used to play with a SpellQueueWindow cvar of around my ping for the most time, switching to a bit more to a double of it, but still can't do what i want to do everytime. The "delay" is not visual, as i do always check on logs if the spells start when i want them to (mostly checking during the trueshot windows, i'm not that crazy). My connection is really good, the best i can have in italy (1 gbps), connected via ethernet, on a fast computer. I noticed that marked shot is sometimes slow to go off, and i noticed that i can't RELIABLY 100% of the times have an aimed shot start as soon as the previous one ended although i have the focus required (and sometimes it falls off the vulnerable window, losing all the bonus damage, and that's really what i'd try to avoid.)Īs fire mage i really want the spells to start off at the very same time, and don't wanna munch the fire blast charges. I mostly play MM hunter or Fire mage, if that makes a difference, so i spend like half my time doing instant casts.
I've been trying to modify this setting every time i notice a delay in my global cooldowns, i made a weakaura to track it and sometimes i notice i have to mash my keys some extra times before i can get them instant casts off.
